Map of School fees payment My name is Jude Akhonya. I am a form one student at Kakamega High School 15 years of age. I remember during prayer day last year, by then I didn't know who will pay my school fees in high school. Since I was totally unable due to poverty in our home. Luckily a certain organisation which had visited us that day promised that whoever was going to be the best student in the K.C.P.E exams in the school, his/her school fees would be paid by that organization. I then saw some hope cause at least I was seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. I entered the exam contagiously and worked had throughout until it was over. When the results were out I couldn't hide out my joy because I had happened to be the best student. My school fees is now being paid by them and I am happy. Read more.

For how long i had slept i cannot tell, but i was awakened by thick smoke that i inhaled unknowingly. I jumped out of bed and fumbled with the door knob to gain exit as i remembered the saying.'where there is smoke there is fire' As a family we were more shocked when we discovered that in the process of running out of the house, none of us remembered to carry our young brothers.tears welled down my mothers cheeks and out wailing uncontrollably. Property worth million were destroyed.Hundreds of people were left homeless. As a good samaritans the KIDYOUT organisation was able to help materially or financially. To date, memories of that inferno usually sent chills of fear and shock in me.An organisation was to report the incident to the police.
