Dear Friends,

Please do accept our sincere thanks for the support you have extended to our project for Multi disabled children. Your support is the sustaining factor to provide services for Multiple disabled children. This is the on-going project, in our project we have children with Multiple disabilities (Visually Impaired and visually impairment with other Mental retardation or Hearing loss). The background of these children socially, economically backward and severe disabled due to malnutrition.

In the 3rd quarter from October to December 2012, we have medical  follow-up program to prevent disability, we also had nutritious food program to improve the health conditions of the children by providing nutritious food program.

We have carried out the regular training programs like :

  1. Self-help care,
  2. Orientation and Mobility
  3. Braille reading and writing
  4. Communication skills
  5. Functional skills
  6. Fine motor and Visual motor skills
  7. Awareness about Environment
  8. Computer Training program
  9. Horticulture Training Program

In addition to the above we also celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi in the month of October, Children's day celebration in the month of November, World day of disabled in the month of December.

The children are learning various skills according to their age and disability.

In order to keep up all the programs and services for the disabled children, we need more funds. Hence we're increasing the targeted budget to $20,000. We firmly believe that our generous donors would help us to reach the revised target.

Again, we have taken this opportunity to thank Global Giving and all the donors who have contributed generously for the benefit of the children with disabilities.

With regards,

Sincerely.

Gandhi Jayanthi
