Summary
HIV/AIDS has left hundreds and thousands of kids between the ages of 0-20 without parents in Cameroon and these children does not have access to antiretroviral drugs, education & accommodation.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
There are over 300 orphans and underprivileged children living in three orphanage centers in Kumbo and Bamenda under the supervision of LWDG-Cameroon with insufficient funds for education. In addition, we need to help these children extend their lives with antiretroviral drugs, help them continue with their education, provide access to accommodation, beds, blankets, clothes, shoes, uniforms, toys, and used computers. Finally, for assistance to the orphanage staff and necessary renovations.
How will this project solve this problem?
Helping orphans and underprivileged children to provide a quality education, antiretroviral drugs, toys, and care for them by bringing smiles to their faces and allow them to live a better life like others.
Potential Long Term Impact
Good housing, quality education and books, proper nutrition and health care for an orphan child will help them focus on acquiring the necessary life skills and we appeal to every donor for continued support.
