Childrens' Summer Camp

Every year Sadhana Sangama Trust conducts a summer camp for children to inculcate values for living a healthy and harmonious life. The camp aims at providing training in physical activities, develop cultural awareness, learn art, craft, music and dance; undertake physical endurance activities and develop team spirit. 

This year the childrens' camp was conducted from 20 Apr 2012 to 30 Apr 2012. In all 95 children attended the residential camp. The children woke up at 5:30 am and took part in the following activities: Jogging- Yoga- Karma yoga (volunteer activities), Shanti mantra class (prayer for peace), Group meditation (in Gayatri kutira, Dhayan mandir, Guha and pyramid locations), Guruji Pattabhiram's lecture, Art & Craft Dance & Music class, Games (Indian Games), Bhanjans, Talent show preparation. Children also went on trekking, organised camp fire and pariticipated in Gayathri havan. This year a resource persons took personality development session.

They went on a trip to Janapad Loka (http://www.janapadaloka.org/en_index.html) that took them on a journey to the wonderful folk world. 

At the end of the camp the children participated in a cultural program in which the parents were the spectators. The camp was a great success.
