Summary
The project aims to provide high quality all round education to under-priviledge children in rural area near the city of Bangalore in India.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Children in rural India do not have access to quality education. As the quality of education imparted to these children is poor, when they grow up they cannot compete with urban children in getting admission to higher studies courses. Their employability in the competitive world is very limited. Location and address of the school:
Sadhana Vidyalaya
Shriramapuri, 4th Km, Kanva Reservoir Road
Kannamangala, Channapatna Taluk
Bangalore Rural, Karnatak 572501
INDIA
How will this project solve this problem?
Sadhana Vidyalaya (Sadhana School) currently provides education to 240 children from nursery to sixth grade. Children are provided free bus transport and free mid-day meal.
Potential Long Term Impact
The rural children undergo an all round development of personality and develop into confident young men and women. They will be able to compete with urban children for admission into colleges for higher studies and also compete for jobs.
