For 40 years, your donations have given Special Olympics Oregon athletes confidence, strength, independence, and hope. Our games aren't every four years. Our games are always. Share the torch and make a donation to provide Training for Life to a child or adult with intellectual disability today.
In Special Olympics Oregon's 40 year history, we never turned away an eligible athlete who has wanted to compete. For the athletes and their families, all training and competition is completely free because individuals like you make it possible for them to train and participate. However, times are changing and we need your help to make this possible. There are more people with intellectual disabilities interested in participating in Special Olympics than the organization can financially support.
When you help share the torch and make a donation, you make it possible for Special Olympics Oregon to reach one more athlete. Special Olympics Oregon is in need of your support in order to provide funding for local training, uniforms, meals, and transportation to the many children and adults who participate in Special Olympics in Oregon.
This project will allow children and adults with intellectual disabilities to increase their chances of success in all areas of life including health, education, employment, and social skills. Special Olympics provides participants with a number of opportunities to help them achieve their many goals.
