Challenge

There are farmers in Afghanistan who grow potatoes, but potato chips are imported from other countries. This business will provide jobs to farmers and create manufacturing jobs as well.

Solution

Potatoes grow across Afghanistan. Potato chips are loved across the nation. Connecting the two brings an additional lucrative market to Afghan farmers, and a national product to Afghan consumers.

Long-Term Impact

Purchasing high quality potatoes will greatly help farmers to enhance their cultivation and factory production processes will offer hundreds of jobs, especially for Afghan women.
