Mike Cassidy a Global Reach International volunteer was in Nepal from February 2011 through April 2011. Mike met with the school to discuss the progress of the fundraiser. Global Reach International requires a percentage from the community to have a project go into its final phase. The community has committed labor and tools to reach our goal to fund this project to its completion.
Committed partners include, T@R Alarms Inc., whom has offered to send professional installers to Nepal to complete the project. Our committed goal of this project is $30,000. Most of this will be in supplies, shipping, and labor. On GlobalGiving we have raised $840. This money will be used in getting the product to Nepal and purchasing additional supplies for the school. Money has not been spent yet, because the project has not been fully completed or funded.
Once Global Reach International gets a full commitment on the solar energy equipment then we will proceed with completion of the project.
