Bringing solar energy and rainwater harvesting to local school children in Nepal.
This initiative will seek to offer a long-term and proven benefit of rainwater harvesting to local school children in Nepal by providing a sustainable alternate source of potable water. This project will also seek to harness the environmental benefit of clean solar energy.
Efforts will be made to educate and train local teachers and community leaders about the benefits of rainwater harvesting and demonstrate to the community at large that there is a simple yet better way to meet their water needs.
The long-term impact will be brining safe water and energy to people in Nepal. It will also bring a reduction of water born diseases, and a healthier environment for the community in need.
