Project Report | May 21, 2009
Thank you

By Marie-Ange Binagwaho | Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Thank you very much for your valuable contributions and support. Your contributions to our project: “Solar Cooking to Help Women Affected by War” have helped us reach over 200 families with solar cooking technology. Over the last five years we have introduced 14,500 families in Mexico, Central America and West Africa to solar cooking technology, helping them save on traditional fuels costs and benefit from the time savings and healthier outcomes brought about by the use of solar cookers. Unfortunately the current economic climate has made it extremely hard for Solar Household Energy to raise operational funds and our board has made the very difficult decision to close our projects as well as all operations except volunteer led activities. We have stopped soliciting funds for our projects. I would like to once again thank you on behalf of the families you have helped us reach.

Gratefully,

Marie-Ange Binagwaho Executive Director Solar Household Energy www.she-inc.org mbinagwaho@she-inc.org 717-989-5294
