Summary
Using Art as the central axis of pedagogic activities to open new horizons for the so-called "street children" in Brazil, who live in risky situations and very difficult conditions.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
This project seeks to develop activities linked to Educational Art, mainly through circus techniques. The beneficiaries are over 600 “street children” and at-risk youth from the favelas (urban slums). Some pedagogic targets are: to motivate the desire to learn and the thirst for knowledge; conflict resolution; respect rules and limits; supply practical experiences with several artistic languages, seeking of self-awareness, building self-esteem and stimulating social participation.

Potential Long Term Impact
The goal of this project is to leverage the technical abilities, number of youth and youth monitors attended.
Project Message
We saw the kids on the streets without hope and reacting with violence to life. Happiness, trust, magic and circus arts are turning these youth into multiplier agents of social opportunities and hope.
