Skill training will be provided to 91 young women within next quarter
Action Plan from Feb 1st 2015 to April 30th 2015
AHD women staff conducted fresh survey in three areas and selected most deserving village / slum areas near Hyderabad to start Sewing & Skill Training centers opening in 3 slum areas of Hyderabad to target poor families to build the capacity of three women groups and about 75 families with entrepreneur skills training for 150 young women within 4 months time period.
Target Areas: 1. Sikandrabad, Kotri, District Jamshoro
2. Hurr Camp, Buldia Colony, Hyderabad
3. Harri camp, Kotri, District Jamshoro
Total Families will be covered: 75
Young women get admission: 91
Time period: Feb 1st 2015 to April 30th 2015
Total 91 young women will be trained within next 4 months and provide with trainings to start their work or business at household level.
We hope the target will be achieved with your all support, if we will get good response in the first month than we easily finish it within 4 months and we will be able to provided them with some 30 sewing machines to students will learn sewing skills. For more contact us at email@example.com
About 59 New Young Women learn to earn income through sewing skills
AHD working in slum dweller areas of Hyderabad of Unit No. 4 & Sikandrabad Kotri within 1 year more than 59 young women trained to sew cloths and garments and successfully to generate income for their family and help their family. During survey visit conducted by Miss. Tahira Rajput, women program officers in all above areas to 59 skilled women are happy and asking to thank GLOBALGIVING DONORS.

Young Women learning sewing & cutting skills near Kotri
Young women learning sewing and cutting skills in the new established sewing center of AHD, supported by Global Giving, About 18 young women got admission in the month of April 2014 and now all the female successfully learnt the sewing and cutting skills. In the next quarter we are planning to open 3 new centers to target some 60 young women in slum dweller areas of Hyderabad. The purpose of the start of new 3 sewing centers is to help poor families and their women to learn sewing skills and support their family to save money and earn income through sewing skills.
Thanks to the donors supported in the last quarter and we expect same for the next quarter with double target achievement within next 3 months time period.

Some 22 Young women learning sewing skills in Sikandrabad near Hyderabad
Women sewing and skill development center established in Sikandrabad through the women CBOs of Sikandrabad Kotri near Hyderabad during March 2014, within 2 months young and adult women learning very fast and now able to sieve their children and family cloths through their own, within next 2 months some 22 young women will be trained and will start sewing at their household level.
AHD plans to provide them with sewing machines, in this regard US $ 60 needs for one machine and total 22 sewing machines 1320 US $ needed to provide them with sewing machines

A New Sewing Center opened near Sikandrabad Kotriby AHD Pakistan
AHD women staff visited a new area of Sikandrabad Kotri district Jamshoro a 15 minutes drive from AHD Hyderabad office. The detail survey conducted in 35 families and some 25 families selected after door to door visits detail survey. The women CBO organized in the area with 25 active women leaders, all women members willing to conduct monthly meeting and look after the sewing center. CBO also selected the local teacher named Fauzia, she will start sewing center and teach young women and girls for the period of three months from April 1st to June 30th 2014
The women group is also willing to provide one room space and the president of women will conduct regular weekly visits in the sewing center to help AHD staff during monitoring visits.
Total 24 female students selected all will learn and attend regular sewing center classes till 30th June 2014.
