Low cost shelter project designed to protect the 1500 affected families of Uc Dubi & Khorwah of Taluka Shaheed Fazal Rahoo, Badin District by providing them low cost one room housing to bring them back to normal life as before floods, that they can secure their women & children as well as whole family in their own home. AHD staff will mobilize poor flood victims for construction of their houses within 2 months time period.
More than 350,000 people affected by recent floods in Lower Sindh needs urgent support, women & children are most affected from rain water created floods they lost their all, residing in open air or road sides. the project will provide low cost one room shelter to flood affected people through AHD staff within 2 months time period one house cost is US $ 500 only. Flood victims will get house within short time period as they now returned to their homes and needs homes for their women and children
The project will provide low cost housing support to 1,500 families affected by flood 2011 in Badin & Tando Mohamed Khan districts & some 12,000 people will get house to live respectfully at their own house.
The families will get immediate relief will be able to return to their homes after floods water goes down and live respectfully in tents or open air wherever they are living in this difficult time.
Mrs. Marwa Kohli got new low cost house as she low cost house during floods 2011 and now she happily living in new constructed house. asking thanks to AHD for the timely help.
