Silvana Veinberg - Executive Director

Silvana is a Speech Therapist that has been working with deaf children and adults since 1981. She is struggling to improve the lives of deaf people in Argentina by creating accessible ways of communication, interaction and integration in education. To date, Silvana has worked directly with more than 6,000 deaf and hearing persons in various projects to change deaf education in her country.

Alicia Sinigaglia - Teacher of the deaf / Sign language interpreter

Alicia worked for 12 years as a teacher of deaf children. She became an interpreter in argentine sign language and is working as such in a secondary school for deaf students, and in the Superior school for Deaf teachers. She is in charge of the design and development of training courses of CANALES Asociación Civil.

Silvia Zgyzek - Teacher of deaf children

Silvia worked as a teacher of deaf children for 25 years. She became director of a school for the deaf. She coordinates many of the programs in Canales and is finishing now a degree in Spanish as a Second Language for foreigners to adapt the program for deaf educatio
