Baby Buggy provided client families enrolled in the St. Anthony's Family Resource Center with donations totaling 3,231 items this last reporting cycle! These donations included high chairs, diapers, wipes, clothing, books, toys, strollers and car seats. These donations were distributed to meet the critical needs of families enrolled at this Head Start program, which promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families. This program engages parents in their children's learning and help them in making progress toward their educational, literacy and employment goals.
Baby Buggy donations not only help meet the recipient families' critical needs, but also help ensure the safety, health and well-being of the children served. Donations are also distributed as incentives to encourage participate in various programs, such as financial education workshops and parenting classe, which help client families reach their personal and professional goals. Baby Buggy could not be more proud of the families enrolled in the St. Anthony's Family Resource Center for taking such brave action steps towards achieving life-changing goals!
