Dyeing for Charity

Children of the Good Samaritan Home
Children of the Good Samaritan Home

Since Sept. 1 we have raised enough money for 2 orphans to go to high school.

The fund drive is ramping up with FAF Membership Chair, Kiri Salazar donating her hair do to the cause. Starting today, Sept. 10, donors may make a donation and vote for their favorite team: Grand Valley State University, Michigan State, or The University of Michigan. Each $10.00 donation gives you one vote. On Sept. 23 Kiri will dye her hair the winning teams' colors. So far we have 2.5 votes for GVSU. Go Blue and White.

To cast your votes for your favorite team, send an e-mail to and to keep up with the contest, go to Laura Salazar on Facebook.

The second pie in the face will be thrown at Laura Salazar at Faith United Methodist Church, Grand Rapids, MI at noon, Sunday.
