This project will assist 30 underprivileged children of Southern Belize in getting a secondary education, covering the cost of their annual tuition, registration, text books and uniforms.
Many children in the villages of Southern Belize are deprived of the opportunity to further their education. These children often come from single parent homes, where that parent is not able to provide for their families, and as such these children are forced to sacrifice their education and the opportunity to better their lives.
This project will assist 30 underprivileged children residing in 11 communities with a full year scholarship to attend high school. Scholarships cover registration and tuition and will help cover the cost of text books and uniforms.
This project will allow 30 children to become educated improving their opportunity for a better life, their ability to contribute to their families, communities and environment.
This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
