Send 50 boys to school in Kenya for a year project is located in Mumias district of Kakamega county, Western province and provides school fees, books, school uniform,shoes for 50 boys who are orphaned or hail from poorest sections of society.it aims at reducing illiteracy hence improving the living stands of the society The project also supports the care takers of the students to keep goats, poultry, cows and horticulture,
89 children out of 100 that complete primary education in Mumias can not join secondary education due to lack of school fees.Although the government provides bursary, many children still remain at home in as the money given by the government is not adequate to pay school fees for all the children.As a result illiteracy, poverty, earlier marriages and insecurity remains a big threat in this society and the boys are the most affected.The project will affect at least 50 boys in a years period.
ITAPK provides school fees, school uniform, shoes and books, to poor and orpahned.The boys and their care takers of the boys are trained to keep poultry, rear goats and horticulture.The care takers are also taught to share their knowledge with their neighbors.
The project will educate 50 boys allowing them to rise out of poverty, which will provide for their families' health and well-being.
