Young Children in the Vome Community, Volta Region
INGH project works to help children who are not in school and are at risk of being trafficked into fishing. The children in the photo were loitering in one of INGH's seven project communities instead of being in school where they should be. These children are in need of added help and this is where INGH comes in.
A Sense of Longing
As the boys in the background head off to school, the other children do not have the means to go. This is where INGH comes in to help prevent them from being trafficked by supplying the required uniforms and other school supplies that often keep a child from gaining an education and leaving them vulnerable to being trafficked into fishing.
Young Girl Idling Under A Tree
This girl was supposed to be in school but was instead loitering under a tree. Children like this young girl are at risk of being trafficked into fishing. This is where INGH comes in to ensure that this doesn't occur.
