We are much obliged for your support by helping us in bringing this work to this stage and carry it further. Today I am pleased to inform you that annual exams. were held in April with 100% success of our children in all exams. Schools are closed now for summer vacations from 1st May and new session will start on 1st July. We hope number of children will double in next session including new batch of drop out girls entering in VI class too. We request you to sponsor education of one such girl just by paying regularly $20 PM or $2500 once to complete their schooling which will help us to get more girls educate to become independent through this project.
At present we are carrying summer camp during these vacations for children to include dance, drawing, skating, craft, yoga, ABACUS, vocabulary enhancement and personality development for our children as well those from other Govt and private schools. 168 children are enjoying and being benefitted in this camp.
I am pleased to inform that on 15th May 2015, I was honoured by JCI Club of Gwalior recognising our ongoing work in Gwalior and received the award at the hands of Mayor of Gwalior Mr. Vivek Shejwalkar in presence of members of JCI and many dignitories of Gwalior. Though I received the award but real owners are our volunteers and supporters like you as well our staff and children in our school & Snehalaya.
Our volunteers are working in Nepal and states of Bihar and UP providing medical care, counselling and helping in relief works following two devastaing earthquakes there. We have vowed to take as many orphan children and homeless adults esp. women as possible in our Snehalaya to give them new home and life with dignity with aim to rehabilitate and make them independent. Dear friends,Thanks a lot for your support helping us to educate girls from villages in India.
I will like to inform you with recent updates. 66th Republic day celebrated in Snehalaya by our children with school staff and children from nearby Govt. Schools there at same time when Mr. Barrack obama, President of USA did so in Delhi. However all cultural programmes cancelled in honour of Sr. Meenoo, resident child in Snehalaya, who unfortunately left us on the day after a long stay in hospital. Shradhanjali and tributes paid to her in stead. All children were distributed sweets at the end.
Also fifteen of us participated in Mumbai Marathon on 18th Jan.2015 raising nearly twelve laks for children of Snehalaya and to educate girls from surrounding villages there. Thank you all supporters, donors and fellow runners.
We are much obliged of your support helping us and hope for extended support to educate more girls there in our school in the new session. Now children are preparing for their year end exams. and we are doing so for news admissions for next session.

We are happy to inform that Childrens Day was celebrated in Snehalaya on 14th Nov. as "SNEH DIWAS" in presence of Dr. Gita Narahari and many prominent people of Gwalior by nearly 700 students from various schools (Snehalaya schools, children from Govt. schools and people from surrounding villages) and colleges (Gwalior Nursing College, RSC collage, Malwa College, RNS College etc.). The programme started remembering Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, first prime minister of Independent India for his 125th birth day followed by inauguration of the"FUN FAIR" at the hands of Dr. Gita Narahari. Many songs, dances, skits, quiz competitions were held and prizes were awarded to three best in each category with conclusion of Fun Fair at 4PM. Nearly 1000 people attended.
We are obliged for your support helping us to educate nearly 250 children in our school, mostly drop out girls and we hope same and more will continue for many years to come and carry it further. Depending upon you, we are participating in Microsoft YouthSpark #GivingTuesday on 2nd Dec. on GlobalGiving where all donations made to our project will be matched 100% up to $500, while funds remain. The new session has started in July, the school continues to grow with your help. We are happy to inform that with your support now more than 200 children from villages are getting educated in our School including 116 girls there. On 22nd Aug. we held annual sports and cultural competitions with nearly 500 children participating followed by foundation day celebrations on 23rd Aug. We have laid down the fondation stone and plan to build the Multi-Purpose Hall in campus. We hope for your extended support to help us complete it within this year.
Our children enjoyed two days celebrations with children, parents and staff of other institutions and now continue with their studies and training. We are much obliged for your support. Please consider sponsoring educating a girl child from villages, $15 PM will help to educate a girl helping to lead an independent life, getting her the life of oppression otherwise fated for. Girls are provided with every thing including education, vpcational training, books, uniform, transportation as well an incentive of Rs.10 per day for attending to complete the school education. Also $25 for a solar light for a girl will help to facilitate their education for want of electricity in villages most of the time.

Dear friends and supporters for our School in Snehalaya and its children,
We are much obliged for your help in educating children from villages esp. drop out girls in our school in Snehalaya at Gwalior. The schools are closed for summer vacations after annual exams in april this year and new sessions start on 1st July.
As you know the school started in 2011 with 70 children, now we have 170 children mostly girls from surrounding villages being educated there. Girls are provided every thing including books, uniform, transportation as well an incentive of Rs.10 per day for attending the school. New seesion starts on 1st july and we hope that numbr of children is likeli to increase to 250 -300 in the new session with start of 9th class and vocational training also.
We thank you for your help, without which it was not possible for us to reach here and we are sure for your continued support for many years to come taking this work to completion. on 25th June from 12.01 PM (EDT), we have another opportunity not to miss, as Microsoft is matching 100%.
