A mainstream school started in Snehalaya Campus in July 2011 especially for girls from villages with aims to educate and make them independent helping with women empowerment. The girls are provided every thing as well incentive of Rs.10 per day for attending school and complete their school education. It is a unique pioneer project in Central India to educate village girls to make them self sufficient. Educating the girls ultimately will make a change for whole family and future generations.
Girls in villages especially those from poor and backward families remain uneducated and oppressed all their life affecting future generations too.
Educating girls from villages will help with women empowerment, will make them self sufficient bringing them out of the life of oppression helping their children and future generations. Eligible girls will be supported for higher education and income generating or employment opportunities too.
Girls, the future women are the centre of family. Educating them makes them understand the problems and solve these in a better way improving the standards of living not only for their family but for whole generation in future and the community in general.
Educating girls makes it better not only family but will change the whole generation to come. - Dr.B.K.Sharma, Chairman and Founder, Gwalior Childrens Charity
