Divine Touching Life Foundation will build a psychiatric hospital in Ghana providing free medical treatment to 500 mental disorder people, also providing their basic physiological needs.
According to the situational analysis of the world health organization(WHO),it is estimated that of the 21.6 million people living in Ghana,650,000 are suffering from a severe mental disorder and a further 2,166,000 are suffering from a moderate to mild mental disorder. The treatment gap is 98% of the total population expected to have a mental disorder.this project will benefit 500 mental disorder persons by providing them with free medical treatment and the opportunity to be self sufficient.
Divine Touching Life Foundation will build a psychiatric hospital to provide improve quality of mental health treatment services to the destitute and abandoned mental disorder people on the street,providing their basic physiological needs and also training them in various vocational jobs giving them the opportunity to be self-sufficient to their families after they are discharge.
We will provide mental health treatment to 1000 mental disordered patients to be cure and integrating them back into the society through occupational training to be self-sufficient to themselves and families.
