It's now 50% easier to give Servano and his family safety during floods

Your donations keep him safe during floods

Construction of the Livelihoods and Evacuation Centre continues rapidly, but we still need to raise funds to ensure we have what we need to finish the centre. Today, GlobalGiving is helping us get there by matching your donations by 50%!

That means that today, and today only, your donation will go 50% further toward giving Servano and his family a safe place during floods. Servano is 12. He lives with his grandma and disabled sister on the banks of the river. His house is made of some plastic and a few sheets of plywood. In his short life, he’s already seen his home destroyed twice.

When the evacuation centre is finished, Servano and his family will have a safe place to weather the floods which have already destroyed their home multiple times. Servano can’t wait for the centre to be finished so that he won’t have to live in constant fear of the floods which affect his family every year – but he needs your help!

Today only, you could sponsor a square meter of wall to protect Servano and his family for just $10. Please give what you can to complete the evacuation centre and share this great opportunity with friends and family!
