By a male, 31-45 years old, in Kakamenga Central, Kenya
Map of SELF ESTAMBLISHMENT THROUGH My name is Joseph Mukhabali. I am a member of Youth action Group of Kakamenga central District. When we put our minds together as youths in 2009, We were able to come up with an innovative idea through which we could enhance our economic status. We have since been able to equip ourselves and build our capacities in income generating projects especially business enterprises. Through a money lending programme, Members have been able to acquire funds with which they developed self uplifting and estamblishment projects. I have been a beneficiary in as much as i have been able to access such funds to be able to start a retail shop for over the last two years. Our greatest impendipent as youth in general is in relation to lack of support. We really need financial capacitation through any well wisher or sponsor,so as to extend our initiative to help the large commuity more fully. Read more.

Map of A KIND GESTURE It is never the joy of anyone to be found between a rock and a hard place.Being the support of able parents puts you right there whether you like it or not. This has been my case since childhood as i was found in the custody of parents that had no means to support us.They were both sickly and old. This enabled me to start schooling late and dropped out due to the needs that could not be provided. In 2004 i was gratefull when Victorious Childrens Home stepped in to help me.I was 11 years then .They have been supporting me since then ,providing my needs for basic living. They took me to school and i am now in class 3 this year 2011,because at 17 my mind has had a challenge bearing in mind the abundant problems i have had to carry along.I have hope in doing well and succeeding in life.
