Social Challengses

Map of SOCIAL CHALLENGSES There are several social challenges affecting the residents of Kisumu. The population is so high yet they have to brace and fight for the few resources that are within their reach. Most challenges faced in Mathare are lack of clean water, poor sanitation, lack of proper defined streets, diseases, insecurity,pollution, tribalism among others. Although there are several Non-Governmental Organization that have come up to help reduce these challenges faced by the residents, it is still a challenge because the population keeps rising day and night and people keep on losing their jobs. There is need fro support from all parties and sources. Organizations have tried to help but little, more need to come up. Read more.
