Elizabeth Diaz-Stubbs - Nicaragua Bridge Project Leader
Elizabeth Diaz-Stubbs was born in Nicaragua and moved to the US after graduating high school. She is pursuing a degree in civil engineering. During the spring semester of her freshman Elizabeth became one of the project leaders for EWB-USA Rice University. Last year, her team completed a pedestrian bridge in Nicaragua. Elizabeth is currently co-leading the bridge project in Matagalpa, Nicaragua.
David Younger - Nicaragua Bridge Project Leader
David has been a member of the Rice Chapter of EWB-USA since 2008, and has been co-project leader of the Nicaragua team since spring 2011. He is pursuing degrees in bioengineering and economics. After graduating this spring, he plans to begin a PhD program specializing in global health diagnostic development. In his future work, he hopes to be a leader in technology development for global health.
Erin O'Malley - Nicaragua Bridge Project Leader
Erin has been a member of the Rice Chapter of EWB-USA since 2009, and has been co-project leader of the Nicaragua team since fall 2010. She is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. She studied abroad at the University of Auckland, New Zealand in the fall 2011 semester.
