Carol Hiltner is an American dedicated to strengthening the Altai culture as well as indigenous cultures globally, to provide sustainable environmental and healing technologies for humanity. She has been working as a nonprofit "citizen diplomat" in Russia since 1986.

Svetlana Katynova is a tireless advocate and organizer for indigenous youth, to revive, preserve, and develop the material and spiritual culture of the indigenous people of Altai Republic, Has organized several youth programs and cultural centers to showcase Altai culture. Researcher on history, language, and literature of Altai Republic.

Danil Mamyev - Director, Altai Nature Preserves Association

Danil Mamyev is Altai's most respected expert in land use and environmental/cultural conservation. He founded the Altai Nature Preserves Association. In 2002, he established the Uch Enmek Nature Park to conserve sacred Altai lands and culture. In 1998, he founded the Tengri School of Spiritual Ecology. Danil works extensively with indigenous peoples all over the world.
