We want to share with you a new achievement that has been possible thanks to your support.  Last 26 of July, 8 youngsters with Down Syndrome and cognitive disability received their degree in commercial logistics, cooking and bread manufacturing after a year and a half of studies in an inclusive environment. And there are yet better news: 2 of them have entered the workforce. This puts us one step closer to our goals to be accomplished when this will be a reality for many more of our affiliates. But today we can say Cheers! and share their happiness.

Our work can´t be stopped, we started an urban garden with which we hope to offer another productive and sustainable alternative for our youngsters and adults. We continue training families and from the month of July Fundown Caribe takes part in the BiBa´s (Wellfare For Barranquilla) fairs organized weekly by the municipal authorities which every Friday moves to a different neighborhood in the city of Barranquilla, to work with the community.

We want to continue building the opportunity of a better future for the persons with Down Syndrome and cognitive disability and continue celebrating with those who believe in and support our cause like you!

Thank you very much!

 Muchas gracias!
