You Can Offset Your CO2 Emissions Here

Social Flycatcher in a Heliconia.
Social Flycatcher in a Heliconia.

Here’s your opportunity to offset the emissions you and your family are responsible for each year and at the same time provide habitat for wildlife and resources for six participating families.

The annual carbon sequestration for this project of 15 hectares, once planted and a canopy is formed (within the first 5 years), will be approximately 300 metric tons. When you consider that the average per capita emissions in the United States is 20 metric tons/year then if 15 people in the US were to support this project they could proudly say that they are not only carbon negative but also responsible for creating habitat and biodiversity, a future for all life on this Earth.

At our website we offer carbon offsetting for different monthly plans. You can be carbon neutral for life for as little as $5/month. On our carbon offset page you calculate your carbon footprint (emissions from all of your activities) and then offset it by planting trees with LRFF. http://lrff.org/offset-carbon/carbon-neutral-for-life/.

Now is the time for giving back to our Earth, the only way she can survive. “The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth”. In other words her health is our health and we are the gardeners.

LET’S GET PLANTING!
