This project will target orphans and vulnerable children living with their grandmothers. Major activities include: - Ensuring food security by supplying garden tools and seeds; - Medical services to children; like provision of mosquito nets - Youth Empowerment - HIV/AIDS sensitization. - Scholastic materials and midday school meals to OVCs. - "Top-up" of school fees as needed. Children of Uganda come from broken homes; they are more vulnerable because there is little support for them. They have a sensitivity that they can't amount to anything in life, and end up getting involved with dubious activities, such as stealing, abusing drugs, and engaging in prostitution. Through the programmes of ZYI, they can be helped, and escape all the traps of feeling like a nobody, to somebody worthy in life.
