220 neglected disabled children living in Thiruvarur villages can get residential care, rehabilitation which will help parents of disabled children reduce their burden make their children independent
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
22500 disabled children living in Thiruvarur Dist. Around 550 disabled children living in various villages are been either neglected or not provided any care by parents or care givers, thus making the disabled children vulnerable to become more severe disabled. By this project 220 disabled children can be provided residential care and rehabilitation service of therapies, special education vocational training and sheltered employment services towards making them to become more independent
How will this project solve this problem?
Providing resident care for 220 disabled children living in village of Thiruvarur District
Give rehabilitation services for disabled children for making them independent
Provide them vocational training and shelter employment
Potential Long Term Impact
220 disabled children offered residential care and rehabilitation program.
50 High risk babies receive early intervention.
130 disabled children get physio, speech therapy, and special education.
100 disabled children have vocational training.
Project Message
As a disabled person, it really boast my morale in being more useful to my village disable people, their parents inspite of my disabilities, feel more honored to contribute for my people in my village
