Thank You we have reached our goal

It was not that long ago that we wrote a report on this project telling you we have not raised much, well at this time we are very happy to say, with much appreciation, that we have reached our goal. This accomplishment is all thanks to you, our donors who generously gave from your heart.

We have predominently been working in Greeley Colorado these past months, along with partners and schools. We have been able to help with food, and supplies, along with holiday gifts for the children affected by the flooding. We have a 15 year old youth volunteer that did a stuffed animal drive called "Bear Hugs" for Colorado Children; nine very large boxes of stuffed animals were given to the children during the holidays, and along with your help the people had a wonderful day of giving together. The new pictures attach are pictures of the stuffed animals and parents picking out gifts for their children and having them wrapped by staff volunteers. We do not have pictures of the feast that was prepared and meals given out to the families that lost all their belongings, but their thanks goes out to each and every one of you who have supported them in helping put their lives back together.

A direction has been found for the funds that are still yet to come from Global Giving for Colorado, there will be another report to follow up when that is in place. I would like to thank each one of you again and wish you the Happiest of New Years.

Do Your Part and the people of Colorado would like to thank you for reaching out and supporting this disaster with your generosity and kindness, from our hearts we would like to thank you again.

Progress in Colorado

Do Your Part would first like to thank each of its donors again, we have not brought in much but with your help and the help of in-kind donations we have managed to help in a couple of areas and are now helping with holiday gift for the children affected by this disaster.

We first assisted in this particular disaster by connecting supplies to people in Boulder during clean up stages after the water had resided. We were, also, able to get mask for use during this phase of work, which can often be dangerous to the respirtory system. We connected volunteers to families in need of help cleaning up, and one, of many, families had to dig out 4 feet of mud inside and outside of their house.

We are now asssisting in Greeley, Colorado with family needs as they come in. We are suppling gifts through donations, bears through a drive and gift cards for the children and families during this holiday season. We would like to apologize for the lack of pictures during clean up, there were technical difficulties. As soon as we can get these pictures and the ones from Holiday Gift giving we will send in another report.

With all the disasters this past year and the many other wonderful causes in which people are requesting donations, we, at Do Your Part sincerely appreciate your donation to our cause.

Do Your Part would once more like to thank you for taking your time to help those who suffering from these storms.
