Food and Clothing for Orphaned Children

Provide food and clothing for children who lost one or both parents in the tsunami.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

A large number of children in India lost one or both parents in the tsunami. Existing or new orphanages may take in the children but need financial help to pay for their care.

How will this project solve this problem?

Just $360 will pay sponsor one orphan for a year, including food, clothing, schooling, and health care. With full funding this project will support 100 Indian orphans.

Potential Long Term Impact

Orphaned children will be supported in a loving and healthy environment. The children can remain in their own communities and receive care following the tsunami.
