Being united with the organization Global Giving Chevaliar Roche Society convened the Disaster Risk Reduction Training & Mock Drill continuous programmes were convened on 20.09.12 ,21.09.12,22.09.12 at Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Thiruppapuliyur, Cuddalore district which was affected with the cyclone Thane. In these above Training Programmes Mrs.K.Sasaikala Pushpa, Headmistress, Govt. Girls Hr.Sec.School presided over the same in the presence of Mrs.N.Sankari, NCC & NSS Teacher. With the leadership of project Manager and his team Chevaliar Roche Society offered the practical explanation and training. Following information were taught during the training programme.

Early warning to be followed during the times of Cyclone Thane was taught
Actions to be taken during the time of flood was taught
Actions to be taken as soon as the Tsunami warning got was taught
Actions to be taken if the symptoms of the tremor is known was taught
It was taught how to act with the precaution without having any five accidents.
Also it was taught how to serve in the search and Redemption works during the times of disasters.
It was also taught by the trainer and Team how to carry the affected persons by using the stretcher method.
Methods information and sharing and handling the same were also taught.
Artificial Respiratory method was practically taught
It was also taught how to control the hemorrhage practically.
Making Bandage to the bone fractured people was practically taught.
