Socio-economic rehabilitation of 500 backward & vulnerable risk girls of Balasore through capacity building, vocational training and seed fund support for sustainable micro enterprise development.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The target risk girl community is neglected in the family & society by exposed to drudgery, social abuse, economic dependence which brings risk to their daily lives. Thousands of poor & backward girls are subject to gender violence due to lack of their access to literacy, legal education & self employment based income earning vocations. The project aims at capacity building of risk girls & save them from drudgery, violence, negligence, HIV/AIDS & trafficking.
How will this project solve this problem?
The project aims at identification ,orientation & awareness of risk girls for their mainstreaming .The girls will be provided with literacy classes ,vocational training courses and legal assistance for socio economic independence & risk free living.
Potential Long Term Impact
By this project, 500 Risk Girls will be literate and trained back into socio economic mainstream .Each girl will counter her physical abuse, raise voice against trafficking and drudgery by earning for her self & preventing social negligence.
