The project aims to rehabilitate those street children who are involved in commercial sex due to poverty and lack of income resources. The project aims to provide psycho social counseling, non formal education, skill development, medico legal aid, moreover develop linkages with potential vendors to provide them a respectful job. Project is focused on establishing a Child protection center to provide children a safe and healthy environment.
The issue of commercial sex has evaporated innocence from the lives of children, children like garbage pickers, street working children, children working in saloons, bar hotels, motor garage and daily wages laborer have been in the tight grip of sexual harassment in terms of commercial product. Especially in Baluchistan where the income resources are less than any other province of the county. There is no place for their rehabilitation in the city.
The Child protection center provide psycho social counseling to the children to make them realize about the grave impacts of their practices. Center will provide them nutrition, non formal education, medico legal assistance and skill development in order to make them able to earn their livelihood through respectful manner. Moreover project aims to develop linkages between parents, doctors and employers to sensitize them and use their expertise in rehabilitation.
The project aims to enhance the skill capacity of the children so that in the future they can earn their livelihood in a respectful manner. The children get aware about their rights and obligations and the impacts of their sexual practices and the diseases by which they can be infected. Street children get non formal education and LSBE which will help them to live better life. The linkages developed with employers is a useful tool to enhance the income resources of children.
