The end of the year is here and we are happy to report that our capacity-building workshops and conservation activities continued successfully. During the last trimester of 2012 we held 8 conservation workshops that resulted in the construction of 16 fuel-efficient stoves, 18 cisterns, and the establishment of 3 tree nurseries. A total of 97 women and 62 men participated in our workshops acquiring skills that will benefit their families, schools and communities.
The halfway mark in our GlobalGiving fundraising goal has been surpassed and we are hoping to reach it this coming year. Reaching our total funding target will raise our GlobalGiving rank as “Partner” to “Leader” making us eligible to be recommended to a corporate partner, thus expanding our visibility and fundraising opportunities. This will help us continue our capacity-building workshops with the communities in the Monarch Butterfly Butterfly Reserve. We hope that you will consider MBF in your end-of-year giving.
We are looking forward to continuing our projects in 2013. For more details about our projects please visit our website where you can also sign up to receive our biannual electronic newsletter.
Reports are sent to donors every three months but if you do not wish to receive them click on the unsubscribe link in this email or login to your GlobalGiving account and change your email preferences.
With our best wishes for this holiday season, we thank you and hope you have a happy new year!!
