Help Haitians recover from the January earthquake by building local humanitarian skills and knowledge and improve the country's capacity to respond to crisis.
Hundreds of thousands of Haitians affected by the January earthquake are living in temporary shelters and don't have access to adequate services such as clean water and sanitation. It is vital that aid workers providing this assistance - such as shelter, logistics, water and sanitation - have the right knowledge and skills to be as effective as possible as they work to help save and rebuild lives.
RedR is developing Haiti's capacity to respond to and recover from the January earthquake by training Haitians in humanitarian standards, emergency logistics, staff security, water, sanitation, hygiene and managing people and projects in emergencies.
Developing Haiti's capacity to respond to disaster and providing skills and training to Haitians improving opportunities for employment.
