Pile of recycled wood
Hi!
I am happy to bring you a workshop construction update. REBUILD Globally has had the honor to partner with European Disaster Volunteers (EDV), an organization that provides meaningful relief and reconstruction assistance to disaster affected communities around the world. We are working together to build the new RG workshop which gives us the capacity and space to hire 40 more artisans! The expansion of our environmentally friendly economic development program is only due to the generosity of all of our partners and the collaboration and extremely hard work of our partner on the ground, especially EDV.
EDV is leading the construction of our new workshop which is comprised of recycled shipping containers and existing structures on land donated by the Caribbean Lodge Hotel/Worldwide Modular Construction. We are privileged to have such wonderful partners and to be working with EDV and using volunteer labor to construct their new workshop.
Your contribution to the project of hiring artisans has changed the lives of people. And now with our new workshop space we have the ability to do so much more. We can not do it without you, help us hire 40 more Haitian people this year!! The disaster also robbed many Haitians of their livelihoods, leaving them without means to rebuild their lives. Thank you for contributing to rebuilding our artisans lives.
Also, please look up REBUILD Gloablly on Facebook and 'like' our fanpage in order to get REBUILD updates!
With love from Haiti,
Julie Colombino
