As a resident of South Africa, award-winning humanitarian leader and Freeplay Foundation Executive Director, Kristine Pearson, is deeply committed to respond to the increasing number of appeals from credible grass-roots charities in South Africa to donate Lifeline radios to AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children. Kristine works tirelessly to try to oblige the many urgent requests.
Niven Postma - CEO, NOAH
Niven received a BA cum laude from Stellenbosch University, then consulted in South Africa and overseas before heading the SA Business Woman's Association for three years. In 2004 she was appointed CEO of NOAH and has greatly expanded its services to AIDS orphans in Gauteng and Kwa Zulu Natal
Herby Rosenberg - Executive Deputy Chairman of MaAfrika Tikkun
Over the last decade Herby has helped build an organization that provides fine daily care to AIDS orphans. Community care givers act as parents to hundreds of orphaned families. Food is grown in gardens, and kitchens provide 650 orphans with packed school lunches and 1400 with hot meals. Youth leadership programs, after school clubs, community centers, creches are all tailormade for each community
