To all of our wonderful Donors,
The project team with students from Yale University is leaving next month for Peru to work with the community to construct a regional clinic that will provide treatment to locals of the Moche Valley who otherwise would not have access to health care. The team will also work at an educational health fair to promote healthier living standards. If you are interested in following our project this summer as we work in Peru, you may do so at this link: http://nourishinternational.org/blog/. We will be continually posting blogs about our experiences living and working with the community. Our project page will be taken off of Global Giving at the beginning of June when we make our final donation to the community. If you are interested in making a final donation your support would be greatly appreciated in the next two weeks.
Thank you for helping us engage students, empower communities, and eradicate poverty.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in support of Yale Nourish International’s project Public Health Initiative in Peru.
The project team with students from Yale University is gearing up to travel to Peru and work with Moche Inc. The students have been preparing their travel arrangements, reading up on Peruvian history and culture, practicing Spanish, practicing their building skills, and planning for the regional health fair. Your support for this project is greatly appreciated. Stay tuned for more updates!
Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
