The poorest community in Pakistan is the people of slums. They suffer hunger and diseases and can't afford education for their children. Serve Organization focuses to secure the tenure of 150 children living in slums of Faisalabad – Pakistan by providing them formal education up to primary with uniform, bags, books and stationary.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Ratio of crime, hunger and diseases increases among people of slums day by day in Pakistan and this is due to illiteracy and poverty from which they are suffering from many years. 29 slums with approx. 90,000 people in Faisalabad are uneducated and education is the only solution which will lift up their lives for long term but their income is very low that they can't afford education. This project will fulfill education needs of 150 children of slums and support their utmost needs for education.
How will this project solve this problem?
We will short list the 150 or may be more children from different slums of Faisalabad Pakistan. We select the school or institute for educating slums children. We pay school fee and entertainment fee. We will provide uniform, books, stationary and necessary things for school. We also make special classes for young boys/girls to provide them some technical skill i.e mobile repairing, stitching. We will follow up for better result. We will support them as long as they need and we can.
