Warm greetingsWe are delighted to share a new video with you where Joshua and the children at Door of Hope in Sierra Leone say "Thank You" for helping to provide scholarships and school supplies. Several of the children came first in their class. Listen to video of the kids joyfully saying "Thank You" here Thanks to the support of GlobalGiving donors, many children who were previously unable to go to school - due to fees and associated costs - are now able to do so. As Joshua explains in the video, the families of the children are so grateful for your kindness. The gifts made have "done them proud" - as their children are back in school. As Joshua says, "It's a wonderful job that you have done". Christiana, on behalf of the children, tell us that they really appreciate all that we have done for them. It's exciting to be able to invest into the education of the next generation. Our support is truly changing the trajectory of the lives of these children as we provide the priceless gift of education. Recurring Donations Matched: We welcome your support - helping us send even more children to school. The best way to help us do this is to sign up for a recurring donation today (under the donate button, click on the Monthly Recurring tab). When you make a new monthly recurring donation to this project, your donation will be matched! For example, if you set up a new $25 monthly recurring donation, GlobalGiving will donate an additional $25 to this project. Please note that donations will be matched 1-to-1 on a given day if 75% of donors who see the offer upgrade to a monthly recurring donation. GlobalGiving may also choose to match recurring donations that are made on days when the 75% of donors do not upgrade if sufficient funds are available.Be sure to watch the video and thanks so much for your support!
Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
