This project will support orphaned children under the age of five to attend a community-based preschool where they will be under the care of trained care givers. The project will provide a meal and a safe environment to these children while they are at the centres.
The AIDS crisis has left children to fend for themselves often under the care of abusive family members, guardians or siblings. The economic situation in Zimbabwe is dire with 94% unemployment. Many go hungry and lack the medical services they need. The project will focus on children aged 5 years and below.
We provide a safe environment that feeds and attends to their many needs in the hope of providing them with a proper foundation in life through community play centres
We provide a safe environment to preschool orphans and provide proper nutritional meals, guidance by trained caregivers and social and intellectual development through play and educational activities. We are community based and run.
