Dear Friend, Here at AIU Foundation we do not have to think long or hard about what we’re thankful for this Thanksgiving. We’re grateful for you, every single day. You reached out your hand and helped many middle school students to get quality formal education. You made the first steps and many young girls and boys are taking a journey of a thousand miles. With your support, we now have 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grades with enrollement if just 9 students in 2011 to our current level of 24 students that received from free education to school suppliers. Together, we are changing lives and developing a new generation of hope. You’ve made an immense difference this year to the young girls and boys of NIGER Republic. I can’t thank you enough. Happy Thanksgiving,
Friends and Supporters, Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Because of your kindness and generosity, we were able to complete two full academic years since our collective journey began in June 2011. We are embarking to the 2013-2014 academic year that will surely come with its challenges. But because of your generosity over the past two years, I have full faith that this year will be another successful one. From nine students in 2011, we are at over twenty students today. While this is testimony of our accomplishments, it is also a call for all of us to open our pocket so that these young girls and boys can accomplish their dreams of becoming good and productive citizens of the world. We are changing Africa. We are impacting the World. Since 2011, we have provided a combined forty years of education. This is all because of you. Please donate today. Thank you.
Friends and family,
We did it again, 100% success rate for the academic year 2012-2013, thanks to your never ending support.
In a country where less than 60% of students make it to next level, International Academic of Niamey (IAN) is proud to inform you that it has achieved 100% success rate, AGAIN, for its second academic year 2012-2013 that ended on June 5, 2013. This would not have been possible without your monetary support and donations. Through your donations, we were able to accomplish the following:
While we are proud of this accomplishment, we are keenly aware of our challenges for the upcoming years. Our goal for 2013-2014 is increase our enrollment level to fifty young girls and boys, from our current total students body of eighteen. This is an aggressive goal that will require projected annual expenses of over $50,000.
We continue to seek financial support in developing our ideal academic institution - an outlet for African students to learn and excel in academic programs that are significant to the future maintenance and growth of the people of Africa and their communities.
Our 2013 Third annual fundraiser helped raised $2,000 toward 2013-2014 academic year. We hope you will continue to support us in our efforts to raise the remaining $50,000. We will utilize every contributed dollar and asset to its highest and best value.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank our teachers for their effort and dedication to seeing our young women and men succeed. We have increased our number of available laptops from 12 to 15.
The staff is already planning for the next academic year that is to begin in October 2013.
Since July of 2011, your contributions to the International Academy of Niamey have totaled over $20,000. Just imagine the faces of the grateful young women and men who have benefited from your generosity. Please join me in making a gift to the 2013 annual fundraiser that will benefits both current and new students for the 2013-2014 academic year. The cost of running the academy for 2013-2014 academic year is $40,000. Any donation will be appreciated.
I want to leave you with this quote: "Great ideas can begin in the heart of one soul, but it takes the support and encouragement of several to make a dream a reality."
We all need your support and encouragement at this crucial time. May The Lord bless you and this great country of ours.
It is with pleasure that I am writing to you about my first visit to International Academy of Niamey, which took place during the week of December 18 - 22.
My visit confirmed to me that we are investing in the right cause. The various testimonies from students, parents, and teachers only gave me the drive to get going. There are, of course, many challenges that we are facing right now. Amongst these are the location, meeting our monthly expenses, and providing more resources to our students and teachers. In spite of the challenges, the students are learning a lot and they are very happy with what they are getting from the International Academy of Niamey. The parents I spoke with are also very pleased with what their kids are getting.
Finally, I like to share with you this not so good news. For the first time since opening the school in June 2011, we are have difficulties meeting our monthly expenses, including teachers salaries. Your continuous support at this moment of our existence is very crucial and I invite you to help us in any way possible. Thank you so much for your never ending support. May the blessings of The Lord be upon you.
