Drug Abuse

Map of Drug Abuse Youth are the most affected with he menace of substance abuse.they tend to engage in drug abuse as young as ten years taking time they would be in school or doing some constructive work for their development and that of a nation too.Most common abused drug is bhang due to its availability by t he locals,some have these drugs growing in their home farms hence causing harm to them while some even die at a tender age,these s why their is need to educate the youth on dangers of drug and substance abuse just like small group of youth who are carrying out such activities. The Ghost We Can Chase

Map of The ghost we can chase Due to economical disability Maw was starving with her family if five members. She had only one and a half acre of shamba of which a half acre was her home. She could hardly or not afford to plough buy seeds nor buy fertilizer to utilize her land. We visited her after sighting the problem. She agreed to cooperate with us after explaining to her that our aim was to restore food security in her family. She agreed to rent us her shamba at one thousand shillings that we may change that cash onto her shares in our self help group. We prepared the land, planted maize and beans through modern farming. The production was excellent 3 bags of beans and 10 bags of maize. We took all beans and 3 bags of maize. The three bags of maize cobered production cost of all inputs we had throughout the project. beans was our profit and the remain seven bags of maize was given/ left Mrss X to take 3 bags of maize to continue with project while four bags of maize to be her food security for her family untill next season of harvest. Who Could Have Known

Map of WHO COULD HAVE KNOWN I once knew a family which was a rotten poverty to the extent of smelling even to the neighbouring places ie. neighbours used to abuse and under look this family. It was a family of 12 members but only tried to educate one of the children but still they could not afford his tuition. The boy used to help in digging and laying bricks for people to get money to help his parents to send him to school but it was still not enough and this resulted into the missing of the UCE papers. He sat at home for a period of 2 yrs trying to raise money for school and lost hope that one day he would achieve his desired goals in life. He resorted into selling pancakes and doing all sorts of work but all his efforts were still in vain. Even his own biological father had given up on him so the struggle now was btn mother and son. After sometime, a son-in law and their family asked him to join him in k'pla and go back to school. he was back in track again finished his o' level and joined an institution where, he graduated in customs, clearing and forwarding.He was introduced to go on firm dealing in his field of study he was employed and earn well. He has done lots of great things in their family and it's most admired home in our area. He has also tried helping those who are in need and pay tuition for his young siblings and in Kampala and also raise his family well. Glory be to God!!. Read more.

Death Instead Of Pain

Map of DEATH INSTEAD OF PAIN There was a situation in my community in Mayenje where a certain woman's child was absolutely sick. This child could not stand up sit walk eat or open up his eyes leave alone speaking. Her mother had tried every kind of medicine including taking the child to sorcerors but all did not work. The situation went on for about three years and the condition of the child got so bad that mother started to think of other means to help the child from experiencing the pains she went through One evening this woman decided to poison the child so that the child could just die instead of experiencing the pains she went through. Indeed his mission succeded but while the body was in hospital and when the doctors found out that the child died from poison and when the mother was asked, she confessing for having killed her daughter and was jailed for life. Map of ALCOHOL The youths of our village were addicted to alcohol which is illegal to the government. The alcohol affected them in the same way. It affected the activity of their brain and nervous system. They can not think clearly as well. it makes them think they can do thing better than usual. But the irony is usual the case. It interfered with their judgement and ablity to make wise decision. Furthermore they cannot stand up well and stagger when they try to walk making their lives poor and their health as well as lacking jobs. Most fatal accidents are caused by these youths who are drinking. 1 person becomes alcohol depedent lense suffering severe type of illnes when trying to stop drinking, that the person life hangs on a thread. The youths drunked in order to be happy and sociable without knowing that their money is wasted in such drinks. This problems was ended by village elders who called meetings with the youths and advised them on the disadvantage of taking it and with the help of the police who catched any body who was found of taking it and distorted their drinking which is now is a zerterical site.
