Malaria Vaccine

malaria vaccine Wit the landmark moment in the world's tight against malaria.Results from a major trial of is 460 African children released early last month, showed that the RTS,S vaccine created by glaxasmithleline (ask) has reduced the risk of malaria by 55% in children aged between 5-17. This came as good news since many children in Kenya and Western Kenya died of malaria and had high infections of malaria compared to other parts of the country.Malaria being one of the continents most debilitating diseases it came as good to the Western Kenya people since the vaccine would see the cases of malaria infection be a thing of the past. Glaxosmithkline gave free drugs to the villages in western Kenya with assistance that a vaccine would be found sooner than later. Read more.

Lack Of Knowledege

Map of LACK OF KNOWLEDEGE It was last year when the K.C.P.E results were announced each and every student was eager to know how he performed there was a child of my friend in rural areas who was expecting a higher marks but he really failed after the results the boy realised he got and decided to hang himself and died which shocked the whole i learnt children should be educated to have knowledge of accepting what they have done in their final exams. Map of OVER-COMERS Women battling with cancer,HIV,Lupus and all big diseases.Thiniking of Lorna Irungus,the Asunta Waguras the lady living with HIV aid,and Mary Onyangoes.The members that these women are battling requires and vehemence. Everytime u see them in the media,u see over-comers,much as they are seen as the face fo the diseases they are battling,they have proved to be mightier than ailments. Internally displaced women:They live in the IDP camps,give birth in those camps and raise children from the camp.I dont know how they do it,but i know it takes extra ordinary strength to make it under such squalid conditions. A Saviours Hand

Map of A saviours hand The year was 2004 when villagers of Vihiga County were experiencing service agony and hardship in this great land of Kenya. Our community had been through alot over the past years but this situation had hit us to the core, children dieing every single day because of plasmodium their mosquitoes carry in their system. Everyday you could feel the pain of a mother watching her child slowly reaching the doors of death. Vihiga county had no mosquito nets and nobody could hardly afford one. But for true Jesus never forsaces his people some health officers had heard about our situation and they had brought the community some mosquito nets and they were from ministry of Education.
