Provide Vet Care to Abandoned Animals

July 2013 Update

As a loyal supporter of EMAR, you ensure that we are able to continue our mission. We couldn't be more appreciative of your commitment to our cause! Thanks for helping us do what we do!

During the summer months, adoption rates slow down. People are busy taking vacations and generally are not in the market to add a new member to the family. What doesn't slow down are the high numbers of animals that need our help. With slow adoption rates, we are limited as to how many animals we can take in. What can you do to help? Volunteer to foster! You provide the love and EMAR provides the rest. If you would be interested in fostering an adoptable pet, contact us at (601) 553-3060 or email Help us spread the word!

To receive constant updates about what's happening here at EMAR, please be sure to check us out on Facebook at East Mississippi Animal Rescue. We are constantly posting our adoptable pets and upcoming adoption events. You can also check our website at

Thank you again for your unwavering support. You're instrumental to our cause!
