Science books ready to go to Uganda

g4g Science Libraries help the community
g4g Science Libraries help the community

Thanks to the great efforts of our g4g team, interns & school children, our office is now filled with science books just ready to be shipped to a school and orphanage in need.  Where next?  Our books will be headed to a special school in rural Uganda - we just need your continued support to raise the funds for shipment.  Thank you again for all your great help so far!

Our next collection of science books will take place at the International School of Brussels at our g4g day on 29 November.  So, we will have more books to contribute to the next science library!

Our next library has now started in South Africa!

The books are piling up!
The books are piling up!

The greenlight for girls office is now full of beautiful science books thanks to a recent deliver from our contributors.  The books are all ready to go to our new and established science libraries around the world.

What's the most recent delivery that just left our office?  Thanks to all your recent contributions and support, we were able to collect and send science books for all ages to a community centre in South Africa!  They are currently en route and we can't wait to see the children's smiling faces when then arrive.

As with all of our books, our g4g team and interns have taken the time to inscribe and write inspiring messages for children in another part of the world.

We have more books ready to go -- and some special children in Cameroon and Uganda will be the next to benefit from these learning materials.

Science Library starts in the Cameroon!

The books have arrived in the Cameroon!!
The books have arrived in the Cameroon!!

The children in a country school & orphanage in Cameroon are so happy to receive their new science books!!  Thanks to the collection of science books at our latest greenlight for girls day in Brussels, Belgium, we had 50 books ready to send to our partner in Cameroon.

For each of our partners throughout the world, we identify what types of books are of need to the rural schools and orphanages that we reach.  In the case of Cameroon, the request was for children's books in French and English that engaged the children to learn about science from the youngest age possible.  In their school system, unfortunately science topics are not taught until after the age of 15 years, so they wanted to have an impact to the children at a younger age to already prepare both their interest and their initial learning.

Mission accomplished for our first delivery of books!!  Thank you for helping us to make this happen!

We have 100 books ready to go to 2 new countries in Africa -- help us to raise fund for the shipping costs to get them into the hands of more children eager to learn and discover new ideas.
