In Unity We Can Move

Map of IN UNITY WE CAN MOVE Millennium Development Goals, commonly called the MDGs is a branch of ICT that has several projects within it. In it is a goal that states that "eradicate extreme hunger and poverty". Two men Steward and Rita, Kenyans who have been working abroad dreaded to come back to their motherland after a long stay in England. While there they had attended many conferences of MDGs and learnt from them to help. They then realized that in Kenya, the physically disadvantaged in Kenya are sometimes neglected and go borrowing mostly in Mombasa town. "Why don't we open a home for them?" Steward suggested and in acceptance, Rita nodded and soon a layout began. Today, many of them have good talents and are abroad and indeed have employed other people. Life In Kibera

Map of LIFE IN KIBERA Kibera is in Nairobi Kenya. It is the second largest slum in Africa after the largest one which is in Soweto slums in South Africa. Life in Kibera is very hard. Most people here doesnt have jobs. The main jobs which can be done here is shoe polishing, jua kali, cobbler and teaching or collecting plastics. Everyday you have to hustle because you cant eat without working, People hustle every way. Their families counts on them for school fees, food clothing and even small household properties. Every day i come from school i have to put my homework behind fast. I collects water from the taps, washing utensils and then go to take a shower polish my shoes then continue with my homework. Kibera Film Productoin

Map of KIBERA FILM PRODUCTOIN The life of children in the slums is difficult due to lack of most basic need so one has to be strong in order to make ends meet.This is basically due to the lack of money due to the low paying jobs.That their parents do in order to make ends meet.not forgetting The large house hotos in the slums Thus making it difficult for families to have food. Due to this yellow sun production decided to shoot c video to show the world how children living in the slums find it hard to make ends meet with their family with all the produce from the movie being used to help the families in the slums.The movies also helped to find donors who helped us providing finds for children to go to school. A Helping Organisation

Map of A helping organisation Everyday a challenge and new things take place. so it was like other days in my village when i decided to walk around the villagehood. The time went and i was still working. I came across some small boys gathering in a small group about 12 km from my village. But I didn't know what the boys were upto. Eventually, I moved forward to know really their conversation. I heard one of them saying ''Let us go and steal from the school.'' Afterwards I introduced myself as well. I was told they lack funds for them to continue with their studies so, they had made bad decision. After ten minutes, I took all of them to ome of the organisation that helped those who cannot support themselves. When reaching there, We were glad to be welcomed, I was talked to those women i found in that organisation. The children received support and they were taken to school and now they have compled their studies. They work in the gorvernment, All of them have children and they can provide basic needs to their family and they help other people and Iam glad. Read more.

God Never Forgets His People

Map of GOD NEVER FORGETS HIS PEOPLE Two years ago,I remember of a family that lived in the slums of kibera The family was poor that it couldn't even provide food for the family all they depended on was water with salt and there they went on sleeping waiting for the other day hopping God will gide them. As the days moved on a group of young men and women formed an organisation that was to help and provide all the needs that a basic person needs.As the group noticed and heard about that family they planned and organised all they needed to provide the needs of the family. Finally God had answered the prayers of the people when they walk up and there they were hearing a knock and the group entered and all the needs the of the family was given to them.The group payed school fees for the children and rented a big house that catered for the whole family The clothing the family needed was provided while the food and eletrcity was introduced in the poor living families.It was only when the family started asking each other where they could move all the money from all the things they were provided,But the group didn't mind and payed all the things and even opened a bank for the family. There is this boy who came from a poor background.He was bright in class and he took life more seriously.This boy was misplaced by the skimitches and he ended up dropping out from school.After about an year an MP came to visit the constituency and a coincidence she was given the records of the school and she was moved a lot and she went to the school and she demanded to see the boy.She said she was to stand for the boys education till he finishes his studies.
